1994 Ford Contour light on panel blinks on and off

It is the on the left side of the panel and I dont know what it means. A yellow light = and the other night in 5th gear it just started coasting on the freeway - I had to put it in neutral turn it off and restart and it was okay -? Help

Is it the over drive light that is blinking if so I would suspect the tranny
have it scan for code
suspect internal tranny failure

need manual CHECK IT @
