1990 Ford Bronco XLT 5.0, 90000 miles, automatic with 4 wheel drive, and no fluid leaks.
After the Vehicle warms up, it appears to be fine, but once I put the car into gear the oil pressure drops to 0 and the check engine light comes on, sometimes the engine quits on me also. When I am moving it seems to work fine but as soon as I come to a stop light it drops to 0, unless I put the car in neutral and rev up the motor a little. What can be the problem(s)?

Is oil full and clean? If yes pump is weak, bearings worn or both!

How do you know it drops to zero? Gage or lite? Are you sure the gage or lite is working properly? Other symptoms of low oil pressure are tapping at idle-- Is this happening? What codes does it have on the OBD?

You could have spun a bearing and caused the low pressure problem or maybe a fauly oil filter
