I have a 1988 Ford Bronco II, Eddie Bauer Edition, 4WD, stick shift, 2.9 liter. It has a little over 68,000 original miles. The gas guage doesn't work at all. Am I going to have to replace the entire fuel pump for that year or can I just replace the fuel sending unit? What might be some other causes for this problem? I'd really appreciate your help with this!

If memory serves, 88's had a single tank unit. You can test the gauge with 10 and 70 ohm resistors, 10 will show full and 70 shows empty, If ok you need to test the lead from the tank, or replace the tank unit.
