Engine runs rough throughout driving range

1977 Ford Bronco 302 V8

Engine began to run rough during idle and throughout driving range.

I did all the obvious:
1. Changed the spark plugs and wires
2. New distributor cap
3. New fuel filter
4. Cleaned carb w/ cleaner
5. Made sure all hoses were connected

After all of the above were changed the engine continued to run the same as before.

Seems there is a slight knocking if you listen real hard. The bronco starts right up, seems to accelerate correctly. It is just rough with maybe a little lose of power. Kind of sounds like it is not timmed properly? Is this something that would happen while driving?

Please help leed me in the right direction!

If it's only a slight knock that you have to concentrate to hear then you're kinda lucky with such an old engine :)

As far as the rough running, check your fuel pressure with a gauge and let me know what it is. Does it have the stock fuel pump? *Shudder* Could be getting old and not wanting to pump :)
