I have a 1995 Ford Bronco that when you turn on the A/C it blows cold air but when you have to give the car gas to pass someone or go up hill it diverts the cold air to the defrost vents and the floor vents. Also when the car is idleing the air turns warm and gets cold once you start driving again. Please help as I live in Texas and need my A/C.

Thanks!

Docfixit,

Thanks for the diagram. It is a bit small and hard to make out. Is it possible to get it enlarged? Also I noticed that when I accelerate there is a motocraft part (not sure what it is called) with a blue line coming out of it under the dash that opens and then closes when I let off the gas. Do you know what this part is and is it an easy fix for the DYI if that is the problem?

Thanks again!

Check valve should be in engine compartment find vacuum line going from intake to fire wall. What your seeing under dash is the loss of vacuum causing the servo to release. Can't make any larger copy to photo shop then enlarge
