The passenger side front plug is #1.
2, 3, and 4 follow back on the same side.

The driver front plug is #5, and 6, 7, 8 follow right back to the firewall on the same side

The sequence on the cap goes counterclockwise numerically.

The #1 postion of the cap is 3 places, counterclockwise from the mounting screw in the cap the is towards the driver's front position on the cap.

This is a copy and paste from another site:

The firing order is 1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8 and the cylinders are numbered 1-2-3-4 front to rear on the passanger side and 5-6-7-8 on the drivers side. #5 cylinder is the frontmost cylinder on the dist. Cap and the rotor turns counterclockwise.
