I have an 88 bronco ii xlt and my headlights and taillights are not working.I checked all of the fuses and they are fine.I tried a new dimmer swich that didnt work either.I noticed when changing the dimmer switch that one of the wire connectors where burnt and I cut and restripped the wire with a new connector and that didnt work either. Did I get a bad switch or is there something else going on like ecm or relay. Please help im lost

I tested the headlight switch and found a burnt wire in the terminal. I put a new switch in and now I have brake lights. But still no front headlights. I changed out the head lights and the bulbs in the rear also. I checked for power going to the head light fuse and there it power. Also my instrumnet pannel back lights and my radio are not workin. My speedometer and tachometer are but my fuel and temp gauge are not. What next? And thanks for ur help with the switch.
