Electrical problem
1993 Ford Aerostar 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

my oil pressure gauge always stays in the same spot when running(never varies). My check oil light will come on at about 1 qt. Low, I guess my question is. Is the pressure ga. Electrical?

Check the oil pressure with a mechanical gauge, if normal replace the oil pressure switch could also be the gauge/wiring problem. If abnormal could mean oil pump and engine bearing.
