I have had a similar problem with the AC. When I start the car it seems as if it will be cool. Then it gets warm a few minutes later. Then when I ramp up the engine it gets cool so I have to sit there in park with my foot on the gas peddle making sure to be at least 1500 RPM. When I'm on the highway it's cool because it's constantly above 1500 RPM.

I was told today it's a valve and it will be replaced tomorrow for $250.00.

Have anyone else had this problem?

Could be freezing up due to air and moisture turning into ice and blocking off the orifice tube
