Hi Guys, I have a 1997 Fiat Brava 1.9 Turbo Diesel with 85000 miles on the clock which is overheating badly. There are no coolant leaks and the coolant pump appears to be pumping ok, the thermostat and expansion tank pressure cap have been replaced and the system has been flushed through. The cooling fan comes on as it should but the tempreature keeps on rising. There is no oil contamination of the coolant and no coolant contamination of the oil, although there is a very slight leak of oil at the cylinder head gasket. Could this be a blown head gasket and causing the overheating?
