After a high-pressure car wash ABS ESP malfunction pre-save unavailable speedometer not working and check engine light on. Took it to a mechanic. They change the brake light switch but did not fix the problem. They did a diagnosis and gave the error codes #20CC and P02036

P20CC - "Rough road detection signal" (by comparing wheel speeds): Speed signal from control module ESP implausible / Read out fault memory of control unit ESP (P1999).

The P1999 is the same code but in generic form that would apply to any other car brand.

I do not have a listing for the other fault code, but it is right in the area of other codes that pertain to engine sensors. This is likely going to be a dealer repair, but given the recent history, a good suspect would be water infiltration of an electrical connector. I'd start by removing the connector for the ESP module and checking that for moisture or corrosion between adjacent terminals. My source has a photo but it is impossible to tell exactly where that module is. It appears to be in a box under the hood that also includes relays and fuses.
