Okay, I changed the fuel pump, crank sensor, starter and relay, and battery. All I get when I try to start it is a clunk and nothing. Gas builds up by the crank sensor and when I take out the crank sensor the gas pours out like I turned on a faucet or something. I've never seen this before. What should I do or what am I missing? Is the engine shot or what? The engine is a 4.3l v6 vortec engine.

If you only get a clunk, are you sure the engine isn't locked up? See if you can turn it by hand by placing a socket and breaker bar on the crankshaft bolt.

If possible, could you record what it is doing and upload it for me to hear?

Also, are you saying gas comes out of the crankshaft position sensor? I don't see how that is possible. To confirm, I attached a pic below and highlighted the sensor. Is that the one you are referring to?

Let me know.

Joe
