Hi,

This morning while stationary I suddenly got a glow plug warning, handbrake and ABS light up with my engine warning light. I am able to drive it but my speedometer is not working and fuel gauge is bouncing round also which make me think it's electrical. I have check all the fuses and they are okay. Wondered had anyone seen this before?

Thanks,
Stephen

Hey STEPHENMO,

Can you please scan for codes and let us know what you have stored.

Without this information it will be difficult for us to narrow down the cause.

Hi Joe,

Thanks for the reply. I'm lending a diagnostic tool this morning so will upload the codes once I've ran the scan.

Thanks
Stephen

Hey STEPHENMO,

Please list the codes you get from the first scan.

Then clear the codes and drive the vehicle.

If the fault reoccurs rescan the vehicle and also note what you have stored after this process.

Hi Joe,

I got a diagnostic tool so the code showing is U0121 which is come to ABS ctrl mod. I can't clear the code and there are no others which is strange as the glow plug lights on and my speedometer and fuel gauge aren't working nor cruise control.

Thanks,

Stephen

Hey STEPHENMO,

I don't have access to a list of TSB's (technical service bulletins) for Seat vehicles.

I would advise firstly contacting a Seat dealer and asking if there are any applicable TSB's for the fault code U0121 that you have.

Being a safety system if there is a known issue this may be covered by a recall which they might fix under extended warranty.

Let us know how you get on and if they are no help we can start the diagnostic process.

Regards, Joe
