I install a 2005 chevrolet impala engine into my 2000 buick century. The problem I am having is the vehicle wont stay running and it gets hot. My question is when I swap the engine should I also change the engine computer to the impala engine or is it ok to continue using the buick century engine computer or is there another problem I should be looking at. Thanks.

As long as it was a 3.1 or 3.8 which was in the car originally, check all your connections you don't need to change computer but all connection need to be hooked up. You may have a coolant sensor problem or fans not going on as well as an air lock in coolant system
