What parts were swapped to make the new engine run? The most likely issue is what the mechanic said, If you used the ECU from a 2.2 engine but the body module and controls are the 1.8 parts then are not able to communicate with each other. However, I would expect far more than just the A/C being effected. Do all the other items on the car work and just no A/C?

Hello sir, as of the moment the A/C is the only one not working. There are no running electric current for it. I don't know if it's applicable to reprogram the car.

If it is only the AC and it worked prior to the swap I would look at the wiring to it very close. Have seen more than a few pinched wires after a swap. Did you use the same AC parts that were on the car originally? Do you have access to a factory level scan tool that would allow you to test the CAN bus signals to the controller and verify that it is sending the command signal? Lastly if you used the PCM for the 2.2 do you know if the AC on it worked?
