I want to get rid of the junk under the hood of my car. I have a Saab 9-7x with the 4.2L Vortec and I was curious as to whether or not I could fit a 5.0 in it. I love the car, hate the engine. If I can't make that swap happen, I'll get rid of the car. I want a 5.0 in my 9-7x. Is it possible? If so, how?

A lot of money they do have some that have a 5.3V8 in later models but it will still cost a lot of money to do this as well as computer hookups

Make sure you have a donor car so you have the computer, find someone to reprogram it and go for it.
