I found a engine from a 2011 daihatsu charade 1.0 and I want to swap it into my 2005 charade. Will it work. My car is an auto. Does transmission matter. Also if the engine Im swapping in has been idle for 3 years but has less than 5000km will it be problematic to restart? Thanks

It should, check the bolts patterns, mount locations and vacuum ports on the intake, let us know how it goes
