Swaped a 1996 1.0 lt 3 cyl engine with a crank sensor to a 1994 that had no crank sensor wired in the harness.
the motor starts up and idles perfect but will not rev up it starts sputering and even will backfire a little, is this bcause of the
crank sensor not being conected or should the motor run good without it, I swaped the intake manifold to match the wiring
harness can you help

Yes, the issue is the wiring harness. It needs a crank sensor to operate correctly

You cannot wire in a crank sensor. It has to be part of the harness. You changed from obd 2 to obd 1. Thats the real issue. Where is the crank sensor located?
