Few days my my cat engine started misfiring after I got it thoroughly washed. I drove with the misfiring problem around 100 km then get it fixed by a local mechanic who replaced the plug set of engine. I want to know whether it caused my engine power loss? Or it is okay now?

Hello,

Typically an engine will misfire due to bad spark plugs.
When the spark plugs are bad, the engine will lose power it will idle rough and will hesitate on acceleration.

Now since they have been replaced, does the vehicle drive as it supposed to?
Any hesitation on acceleration or rough idle?

If those issues are fixed then the replacement of spark plug has fixed the issue.

Please let me know of any questions.
Thank you.
