The wife was driving the car on the freeway on cruse control and she heard a sound by did not know where it came from, then the oil, temp and check engine light came on then they turn off. After that the speed started to slow down. She pulled over, the car turned off and then it started to smoke and smell. The oil is fine no water in the oil. I tried to start the car but no go. Do you think it might be the heads? If so the about how much would that cost?

All of what you described could be caused by nothing more than a broken serpentine belt. Did you check that?

Are you saying a radiator hose is leaking? Coolant that gets on the belt can make it slip too. That would explain why some warning lights turned on, then went off later when the belt started grabbing again.
