Good morning,

I need the codes that are set to help narrow th area of failure for you.

You can go to a parts store and have them read it for free. Once I get those numbers, I can help further.

I attached 2 TSB bulletins for you to view explaining some of the issues for the lights. You will need an advanced scan tool to monitor the system to determine the failure.

Date

Validity
MODEL 203
Reason for change
Based on old Service Bulletin P-B-91.60/139
Complaint
SRS warning lamp comes on and fault code 90A6 stored in restraint systems control Module (N2/7)

Cause
Failed communication between restraint system control module (N2/7) and passenger seat occupied and child seat recognition sensor (B48) may cause fault code 90A6 to occur during system self-test.

Note:

Seat occupied recognition mats with the following part number are potentially affected:

A 203 870 37 10

A 203 870 38 10

A 203 870 39 10

Remedy
Do not remove/install/replace any parts. If further fault codes are stored, first process these faults and then flash the restraint systems control module (N2/7) with DAS releases as of 03/2007:

Connect SDS
Select Main Groups/Control units/Body/AB - Airbag/Control unit adaptations/Read code and change if necessary/Test of seat mat components: follow instructions in DAS
Note:

As of DAS 03/2007, the software has been revised and the restraint systems control module detects the installed seat occupied recognition mat.

The part number of the seat occupied recognition mat cannot be read out via DAS.

SRS Indicator Lamp On

If you receive customer reports in the above model vehicles that the SRS light is illuminated and diagnostic fault code(s) B1035, B1037, B103B and/or B1039 are stored in the SRS ECU, the resistance in R12/11, R12/12, R12/20 or R12/21 ignition circuits for the sidebag squibs may be too high. This high resistance is caused by either of the following:

The left front door separation point connector X3511,
The right front door separation point connector X3512,

The left rear door separation point connector X3513

The right rear door separation point connector X3514.

To resolve, remove connectors from the wires for sidebags in the left and right front footwells and the left and right rear entryways and connect wires directly. Please follow the below procedure to repair.

Note:
Always perform procedure on all 4 connectors.

1. Remove ignition key.

2. Remove A-pillar paneling in front foot well and door sill molding. Remove left front floor covering per WIS document AR68.20-P-2050P and right front floor covering per WIS document AR68.20-P-2070P.

3. Remove left and right rear door sill molding.

ImageOpen In New TabZoom/Print

4. Expose wiring harness. Figure 1 shows connector for front doors X3511 (left front door separation point) and X3512 (right front door separation point). Wiring for rear door connectors X3513 (left rear door separation point) and X3514 (right rear door separation point) are similar. Wiring diagram of airbag control module with integrated E-call system can be found in WEB ETM document 91.60-U-2101FA.

5. Remove connectors and connect wires directly with solder connectors.

A. Cut line approx. 10 mm in front of and behind connector.
B. Remove about 20 mm of fabric tape on the control unit side.
C. Strip about 15 mm of insulation from the wire.
D. Slide solder connector onto wires.
E. Twist both wire ends together, observing the wire color assignment.
F. Position solder connector in the middle and shrink it on (solder) using a heat gun.

Utilize wiring harness repair set 220 589 02 99 00 and heat gun part no. 458-HL1802E via the MBUSA Standard Service Equipment Program.

G. Inspect solder connection.
H. Tape up both ends of the wires.

Note:
Send the cut off connectors to the following address for analysis making sure to cite the vehicle data, VIN, and fault code:

Mercedes-Benz USA, LLC

6. Delete fault memory with STAR DIAGNOSIS.

7. Install in the reverse order.

I don't understand. Because the the lights that comes in the dashboard are not the problems, these lights seems when the transmission work not in right way. So check engine light - ESP - SRS. Some time these lights not indicates.
Take a look for the picture.

Yes, I see. You still need to have the codes checked.

Their display will always refer you to the dealer for diagnostics.

You need to have the codes checked and see if any are active or inactive and let me know.

Yes, it could be a serial data failure but needs to be confirmed.
