Have replaced the pump, solenoid valve, shutoff valve, check valve, and catalytic converter. Secondary air still showing not ready on scan tool. Everything else is green (ready).I also replaced the inline vacuum delay valve. Did I miss something? I cannot find the EGR valve. Does it have one? The truck has had several cold starts and air still not ready. I can hear the pump run when it starts up. What else can I do?

Good morning,

The O2 sensor has to read lean to tell the ECM that the pump is working.

It could be the O2 sensor or it could be a clogged passage in the head from the pump plumbing.

Make sure the passage in the head is clear of all soot.

I'll check the voltage on the 02 sensor during cold start and after. I'm pretty sure I saw voltage fluctuation when I looked at live data. There aren't any dtc's. Before I replaced the pump and valves there was a code. Don't remember the actual code but it was saying there was an exhaust leak. That is when I started replacing the air system. Thanks

I would really like to know that code.

Did you clear it or did it just go away?

If it just went away, it will be stored in history. If you cleared it, it is gone.

I cleared it. It was a couple of months ago. Do you know if there is an EGR valve?

The scan tool im using has a secondary air injection reaction system monitor $03
Component ID $01
Min N/A
MAX $0000
Test Value $0000
Status OK

Not sure what it means. Looks like it didn't get a reading.
If the test isn't completing I don't know why. Thanks for the info.

It says status okay.

Is it still showing incomplete?

Can you post a snapshot of that on your reader?

Air is red and all others are green. It's hard to see in the photo but the bottom left is air and is the only one red.
