Hello everyone, TIA for any advice you might have as this one has me baffled.

First off, the car runs fine when cold/cool. Once warmed up however, it cuts out/bucks under light acceleration or when letting off from strong acceleration. I can either jam on the gas or hit the clutch- otherwise it will violently cut out like it wants to stall- but after hitting the clutch it's fine (idles normally). Also, hitting the gas seems to fix the problem too, as it has no problem accelerating, it's just when trying to "cruise" at mid rpms or when letting off the gas from mid or high rpms.

I'm thoroughly confused as it seems to run perfectly when cool, but the above problems only crop up when it's hot. O2 sensor, EGR valve, fuel pump? I'm lost and there's just too long of a list of stuff to go and replace to do the trial-and-error thing :/

I also noticed the oil pressure drops when it's hot as well (fine when cold) after it's hot, it will run almost buried on the low side idling, and when revved, will sit right around the low pressure hash mark. When cool, it runs around the low hash idle and in the middle when revved.

This is a Eagle Talon- 1.8 btw, since I couldn't specify those from the drop downs. Thanks again for any help and/or advice guys!

Do an oil and filter change
I would also replace oil pressure switch
check fuel pressure and exhaust back pressure that will tell if catalytic converter at fault
disconnect O2 sensor and give it a test if improved remove and replace
sensor
good luck
let me know
