Dear 2CarPros,
I have removed the defective lock actuator and installed the new lock actuator assembly and reconnected both the mechanical and electrical connections. Mechanical, it works great. However, electrically it is does not work. The driver’s armrest control switch operates both windows and the passenger’s door lock only. The driver’s power lock is not working, with power connected. I have checked all fuses and other electrical connections. I have not been able to isolate this problem. And answer why is the power lock actuator assembly is not functioning electrically? I am reaching out to check with you for any suggestions. Where should I look next? Thank you for your time and attention concerning this matter. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you and have a great day.

You will have to check the switch and inspect the harness where it goes through the A pillar as you often find a broken wire there as it tends to be the weakest point due to the flexing of the harness each time the door is opened. A continuity test should show up a problem.
