Engine problem
1977 Dodge Truck V8 Wheel Drive Type unknown Automatic 210000 miles
----------------------------------------------------------------
it stalls when i stop, then takes about 10 minutes i can start again. then just 1 mile down the road it died again. happened 3 times. had a problem with the rods, had to replace one, and one seems as though its about 1/4 inch shorter then the rest. thought maybe the rocker was tightened to tight and that the cam was flattened. wondering if that could be the problem or just a electrical problem. thank you for your time.

If your talking about the push rods, you may have hydraulic lifters and one collapsed...pull the rods out and see if any are bent...keep track of which cylinder and valve the came out of, so you can put em back in!
