2001 Dodge Stratus SE, 105,383mi. Recently, while driving at night, I flicked on my high beams, and my interior lights went dim. The dimmer switch did not appear to work, except when turned all the way down to "Dim", the interior lights were their brightest. Also, dome lights do not come on when I open my doors now. Lights have not been same, but also appear to go dim or flicker when turn signal is on, too. Exterior lights are not affected.

I would try the rheostat aka dimmer switch, if this is faulty it will make the lights go crazy in the interior

Thank you for the advice. My car was looked at during my state inspection, and they found that it is the dimmer switch. The mechanic quoted me a price of $270 for the part, from factory. Pricey fix.
