My 2005 Dodge Stratus won't start. The gas gauge has been broken and repaired before. I thought maybe it was broke again and it was out of gas. So I put some gas in it and it still won't start. When I turn the key, it sounds like it wants to start, but it doesn't. What could be wrong with it?

Running the fuel down until it runs out is bad on the fuel pump FYI. I would see if you can get the engine to run an starting fluid and if so replace the fuel pump, here is a guide to help as well.
