Hello, I have had this problem for about a month now. When I first start my car in the morning and put it in drive or reverse, the car is being given gas but does not drive or reverse. I have to give it gas several times before it actually starts moving. Once the car is going and I have been driving there is no problems, but always seems when I first start up, or if my car has been sitting for sometime. If I go to a store, turn my car off then go back out 30 mins later the car is fine, but if it is sitting, or a very cold day the car takes a little bit to get going, I press the gas but the car doesnt drive, just have to do it several times to get it moving. ANd to be honest sometimes it feels like my transmission is about to fall out when I give it some gas. Any help is GREATLY APPRECIATED Please offer any advice either. Thanks!

Thanks for the quick response, The trans HAS NOT been serviced, The check engine light did come up about a month ago then went off a couple days later. Not on now, and has not been on since, no other service, no flush or new filter. Should I start there?

Yes fluid change and filter at that time they will be able to see if excessive clutch material is in pan. Fluid looses hydraulic properties over time and milage. Also have it checked for codes they where stored this will tell if shift solenoid is faulty.
