I have an 03 dodge status. ONLY WHEN ITS COLD, my car acts as though it doesnt want to go when I put it in reverse or drive. It also does this when I am in the process of driving. When the car is already in motion it acts like it doesnt want to go. After it is warm, the care drives effortlessly and changes gears perfectly like it is a brand new car. What do I have to do to fix the problem and is it my transmission.

I really don't think that it is your transmission. You probably are low on fluid and the fluid is old. Check your fluid level or if the transmission has not been serviced in the past 2 years or 30K miles, I suggest that you service the transmission filter and fluid. Make sure that you use Mopar ATF +4.
