2001 Stratus Brakes!

I have a 2001 Stratus,148B, 2.4l cid,DOHC 16 valve, SE model 75,000 miles.
** To change front brake rotor. Do I have to remove caliper carriage? ( The bracket which the caliper sits on, and bolts to?) If so, what size is the bolt, that holds it? Thaks, Pauli.

to replace the brake rotors you should only have to remove the brake calipers. they are held on with two bolts. you should also replace the pads so that you get a even wear.

Bob Q. I just dropped the car off stands. The rotor will not come off. You have two 18mm/19mm? bolts that hold the bracket for the caliper. This bracket will not let rotor come off. This is a 1st for me! Pauli.
