2000 Dodge Stratus 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

hello
my car break lights wont come on when I break to stop what could that mean? I already replace the bulb and they turn on at nite but not when I break. Also when I turn on my signal lites to make a turn they quickly shut off and wont stay on why is that?

Yes everything thats elecrtric on the car is working fine. But when I step on the breaks the lite dosnt come on.

Then you need to go to the brake light switch under the dash at the brake pedal and test for power coming in all the time and going back out when the brake is applied.

Ok wat is that peices called behind the break pad and how do I check it? Do I need special tools or anything?

You use a 12v test light to test for power. You may have to get someone to do it for you.
