I put the car in park,start engine,put in drive,drive away.take foot off of gas pedal engine dies.pull over put in park ,starts right up.take off and go, take foot off gas pedal it dies.when engine dies the speedohmeter immeditly drops to zero.please help

Start by checking your idle air control motor, throttle position sensor and MAP sensor.

Speedometer immediately drops to zero when engine dies, that is normal.

Check for Vaccum leaks in the lines, expecially where components connect, and gaskets. and tighten them down.

try that and see if it works out.
