I purchased a used '93 Dodge Stealth and it ran for 1 month. Now when you turn the key you hear a click and the engine turns over, it runs for a few seconds, you hear another click and then the cars dies. We have replaced the fuel filter, fuel pump, checked the fuel pressure and changed the main relay sensor and still no go. HELP!

Have you check for trouble codes? You will need a scanner to run the computer. Did you check all fuses? Please get back to me.

Yes we have connected a code reader to it but no codes are showing up. Fuses are all good. My friend has a garage and has been trying to find out what is wrong but it is nearly impossible without codes showing up to help, so we have been trying the cheapest things first to try to eliminate what might be happening. That is why I contacted you guys since your the vehicle experts. Can you help?

Thanks,

The fuel pressure is at 38 when you first start it, runs for a few seconds and then the fuel pressure drops to 25 and shuts off.

When it dies can you shoot carb spray in the intake to make it keep running? If so you are losing fuel, check to see if the injector pulse fails or if the fuel pressure dropping off is causing the problem. It should stay at 35, i dont like that is goes down to 25 psi. that might be our problem.
