1992 Dodge Spirit stalling and not starting

on cold mornings the engine floods and when it does start it runs rough and stall (heard the term disel it revs high and then low almost stalling and sometimes it does). also in the morning if it starts and runs for a couple of second, then stalls ,I'll try and turn it over again and it won't start (Like having a dead battery. I have a new battery,new spark plugs & wires, distributer cap and rotor.Do you have any suggestions ?
