PLease help me to help my husband !

we installed these LED Licence plate screws. My husband had the lights accidentally on when he touched 2 wires together(black and red wires for license plate light) Now. The top 2 bulbs on the rear driver side will not work. Fuses have been tested and work fine. Bulbs have been replaced. There are no indicator lights on the dash. Any ideas?

Thanks so much for any assistance you can give us !

I don't know what circuit and I am sure he doesnt either. I do know that he was using the wires that would connect to where hte license plate light was (as he was replacing it with those bolt like iLED ghts). We did replace the bulbs and it didn't do a thing.

Any other ideas?

PS. I donated last night as I appreciate any and all help.

Thanks

I suspect a wire could be melted off somewhere. At the brake switch you will see two wires on it have somone look at the lights and you should touch the two wires together breifly. If they both illuminate the switch is bad. If nothing find the wire that is hot from the switch and the one that is neutral
follow the neutral one to differnt sources. Let me know where it al goes or if it goes straight to the brake lights. If it goes right to it then suspect a melted wire and what you should do is run a new neutral wire to the light. If it goes to various switchs touch the hot wire to it at those places untill you get it to light. But since it only happens on the left side of the car and the other side works I suspect a melted wire and I would run a wire from the two bulbs that aare burned off and follow themto the source and splice them in.

The last thing I told you would be pretty much trouble free. It wont effect anything either. Its just you might have to splice in another wire if you have to tow a trailer. Because of the bypass.
