We are getting an error with the ignition on cylinder #5 … we have replaced the plugs, wires, cap, and rotor is there any thing else I can replace. The truck runs fairly well a little ruff at idle but has good power and smooth running at speed. I don’t know how long the plugs I took out had been in but thy all looked good, dry, and not two much build up or wear . The rotor and cap had a little more build up and ware on them there are no odd noises, oil leaks or smoke

Without knowing the year of the truck and what engine I can only give a little general advice on this...

You could have a serious problem, or something very minor.
Check compression on all cyl. They should be within a few PSI of each other. Do a leak down on each cyl to check for a tiny head gasket or valve leak. a repair manual available at the local auto parts store will tell you what specs to look for.
If all above falls in spec, then you can rest assured that their is no MAJOR mechanical issue causing your problem. BUT if it's not one of the above, we will need more specific information about your truck to help diagnose the problem.
