I recently had work done on my truck by a local dealership. My truck died at a light, and, after much run-around, the problem was diagnosed as a fuel pump short due to the body harness. The dealer rewired the the body harness, and, when I got the truck home, noticed my reverse lights came on when the brakes were applied. I don't know very much about vehicles, especially electrical work, so I assumed these two issues were related. The dealer said they weren't. Was the harness they repaired only related to the fuel pump, or could the two issues be related?
