Hello, My truck had been parked out in the open for almost 18 months without been started, washed (completely untouched). The wheels have gone flat, battery gone dead (asuming). I know that there was only about 1 litter of fuel left in it before being parked. Please if you could advise what should i do before i try to start the engine after replacing the batteries. Any precautions, tips would be highly appreciated.
Thanks to all inadvance :)

If that is all the fuel that was in it, it should be okay. I recommend adding fresh fuel to it, make sure the fluids are all full, reair the tires, and recharge the battery.

When it starts, expect it to not run too well at first. First, it has old gas in it, second, with the battery being completely dead, the computer and TCM will need to go through a relearn process. As a result, it may run rough, shift odd...

Change the oil asap.

Let me know if you have other questions.
