I have a 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 with 70,000 miles. Sometimes the truck will just keep turning over but will not start. It sounds normal turning over but will not fire. It had 4 codes P0522, P0562, P0344, P0016.
Sometimes it starts fine. It has also dies on me a couple times after starting. The vehicle is out in a remote village so I do not have a dealer to bring it into. The mechanic in the village got these codes for me but does not know what to do.
Thanks

Hi Codes indicate cam and crank sensors out of sync. and intermittent cam sensor. Recomend you click on site at bottom of post ie. mnauals. For $10.95 you can get repair manual for truck down loaded to computer. this should provide the Tech there with means to repair.

Based on my reported problem would you say that repairing the cam and crank sensors would fix it? And what do you mean by repair? Are parts not needed?

You may need parts also may need scan tool that probably don"t have. Manual will give Tech there a diagnostic proceedure to make necessary repair. also will provde me a clearer picture of what is going on.
Where is this village?

If shop rate is $85 an hour then what should I expect the cost on this repair to be?
