2001 Dodge Ram Engine Replacement

Hi, is there any reason that a 5.2L engine from a 1998 Dodge Ram 1500 would NOT be ok as a replacement for a 5.2L 2001 Dodge Ram 1500? Thanks for your time.

First, we only recommend direct fit parts. In your case, it should work, but make sure to change all sensors, injectors. From your old engine with the new one. Make sure there are no missing sensors from one to the other.
