About 2 weeks ago there was a clicking noise from my starter solenoid. I removed it and had it checked and it checked ok. Replaced it and no problems til yesterday. Same clicking noise..removed starter and grounded it and it would turn over only for a second no matter how long I held the ignition switch. Replaced starter and same thing..clicking from solenoid. Checked battery voltage and had 10v. Jumped from another vehicle and then tried and the starter turned over, but engine would only run as long as I held my foot on the accelerator. Any direction would be greatly appreciated.

Have you checked to make sure the alternator is charging? Also, did this happen all at once or over a period of time? Has the check engine light come on? Have you checked fuel pump pressure?
