1998 Dodge Ram Runs Rough

I have a problem possibly with the TPS(throttle position Sensor) just had it replaced 3 months ago no it's doing all the common symptoms of how it was when it was bad rough shifting rough idle and bad throttle response could I have installed it wrong is it possibly just defective I followed all installation instructions need help quick

I'd have to go through the diagnotics. How long since a tune-up? Are there any trouble codes? Use a gage and check fuel pressure. Some of the national brand auto stores used to check some codes for free. They also used to loan out a fuel pressure gage, if you don't have one. If you have a digital multimeter check the tps. The violet wire is ref voltage-- orange wire is signal-- black is ground.
