On occasion my truck won't start (it turns, but acts like it's not getting enough fuel), yet if I let it sit overnight it starts right up the next morning. The common factors are it happens after driving on a hot day, and for some reason when it's parked on a slight decline/incline (but not always). In the last couple of months I replaced the fuel pump. Could I be getting some type of air lock in the fuel line in the heat, bad fuel pump......?

Hello, did you check for codes? When the vehicle refuses to start, have a helper crank it, while check for spark at the plugs, If you have spark everywhere, use a gage and check fuel pressure.
