Transmission problem
1996 Dodge Ram V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic
I have a 1996 Dodge Ram 5.9 liter 4x4 with auto trans.
When I put it in gear it will jerk and die. Like the trans is locked up. To get it home I had to rev the truck and put it in gear and it would drive fine till I had to come to a stop if in gear it would die. If I put it in N it would idle till I had to put it in gear again. I changed the Shift silinoid and that did not help. Any ideas?
