Ok so I have a 94 Dodge Ram pickup 1500 2wd with a 318 5.2L V8. It was working the night before as normal as it gets. This morning when I go to start it, it turns over but wont start. The thing is though that it starts if I press the gas pedal and it'll only remain started if I continue to hold the gas pedal. When I let go of the gas pedal it shuts off. What could it be? The Idle Air Control Valve? The fuel pump? Please help! The temperature right now is cold, around 20 degrees if that helps any.

Check and test the coolant temperature sensor and throttle position sensor if both okay clean out and test the idle air control valve its job is to target the idle speed at all times and see what happens
