1988 Dodge Ram Not able to start

I have replaced the starter and the battery and still all it does it click when I turn the key. What else am I missing.

Wouldnt surprise me if the starter relay/solenoid was faulty causing your problem.

When using the new solenoid, make sure the cables on starter and on the battery are clean, and the batteyr is as full as it can get because the more power that it takes to crank the vehicle the more chance it is that it will draw more amps and wreck the solenoid within the first month and youll be replacing it again.
