How old is the cars battery? Could have a weak charge on it, Or a dead cell in the battery, In which could cause the car not to start, What kind of noise is it making while trying to start the car?.

If you turn the key and nothing happens; No klicks or anything, I would say probably its your safty neutral switch. Did you go over any bumps real fast or anyhting like that?

hey i just wanted to let you know that the same exact thing happened to me. i was at pathmark with my girl one nite and my car wouldnt start over, no clicking no nuthing, it turns out that a couple of days later when we had that big ass rain storm, my husband caught a pot hole filled to the brim with water and flooded the engine. the car died right there, but that wasnt the problem. when we told the repair shop guy the problem i had been having he said that the reason is because ther wa a hole in the engine, so check that out if u havent already or if the car hasnt been fixed yet
