Rack and pinion was repaired and after that the check engine light is on?

My rack and pinion was repaired, and after that the check engine light is on.I think that the fluid pressure switch was not connected.I found the wires, but not the switch Is it possible that the problem is there? How can I find that switch on the steering gear?

Hello,

Plugging that harness into the pressure switch is fairly straight forward.
Only tricky part is to be able to reach the sensor.
That pressure switch is located next to where the steering shaft meets the rack (see diagram below).
You might have to raise the vehicle in order to access it.

You will have to clear the code after you plug the harness back in.
