Every 2 minutes my Dodge has a momentary electrical loss. The gauges and lights blink, cruise and AC shut down and need to be restarted. It is almost exactly every 2 minutes at high speed or at an idle.

Hi dodgchargr,

Thank you for the donation.

Does the problem occurs at initial startup and happens all the time?

Did engine cut off or was it affected by the blinking of the dash lights?

I would suggest checking the #11 (5A) fuse in fuse block on left side of nstrument panel. It could be loose.

Yes the engine cuts off momentarily. About the only thing that is not affected are the headlights. If you set a watch as soon as the engine starts it is almost exactly 2 minutes apart no matter how long the car runs.

Hi dodgchargr,

I would suspect the ignition switch to be the culprit.
