So i just bought this car...very nice ar first!!!

until 3 days after i bought it, it left me stuck on a highway.

Before it stalled, it was back firing like crazy, amd shaking violently.

then it shut off, and didnt turn on... and if it did turn on it was very brief...it would shut off after 2 seconds.

when i got it towed to my house, i checked spark plugs, an the first 2 spark plugs were soaked in oil.

later i found out it was a valve cover gasket...i changed that with the spark plug tube seals.

still no luck at all. will not turn over

the car is a 95 dodge neon sport, auto, 2 door, 115000 miles on engine.

please help,i just bought this car, any ideas will be most appre. thanks Dom.

anther was to contact me is on aim: "mastermindz06" thanks again.

If its cranking over and will not start do below to determine if its fuel or spark problem

Get a helper disconnect a sparkplug wire or 2 and ground it to the engine -have helper crank engine over-do you have a snapping blue spark? If so-you have a fuel related problem, check the fuel pressure to rule out the fuel filter/fuel pump/pressure regulator and listen to the injector/s are they pulsing or hook up a noid light. No snapping blue spark continue to troubleshoot the ignition system-power input to the coil/coil packs, distributor pick-up coil, ignition control module, cam and crank sensors- Note: If it doesn't apply disregard it
